Michael Edwards is the head astrophysicist at Solar Industries, a high-tech facility tasked with storing and converting solar rays into an endless supply of renewable energy. After years of research and millions of dollars, the revolutionary new system is tested. Initially all goes according to plan, but soon after, a series of deadly magnetic anomalies strike the surrounding area. Michael investigates, discovering that their test accidentally created a roving magnetic vortex! The mega swirling tornado is soon ripping steel from buildings, cars off the roads, and sucking up anything metal in its path. Michael and his team must find a way to stop the growing vortex of churning metal before entire cities are destroyed.
